Purposes and legal bases for processing your data :

Personal data collected on this website are processed in order to :

  • Create and manage your personal account. This processing is based on the execution of the contract that you have concluded with Société des Téléphériques de la Grande Motte (STGM) as part of a purchasing process or, in other cases, it is based upon your consent.

  • Process your order. This processing is based on the execution of the contract of sale to which you are a party.

  • Send you promotional offers, newsletters, invitations to participate in games or contests or satisfaction surveys. The sending of such messages by STGM is based on the legitimate interest of this company to develop its activities if the e-mail address was collected as part of a sale of products; in other cases, it is based upon your consent. The sending of messages by the Tignes Tourist Office is based upon your consent.

  • Respond to requests for information, comments and complaints that you send to STGM. This processing is based upon the execution of the contract you have concluded with Société des Téléphériques de la Grande Motte (STGM) as part of a purchase; in all other cases, it is based upon your consent.

The completion of the fields marked with an asterisk is required to allow STGM to process your order. If there is a failure to complete these fields, your order cannot be processed. Completion of the other fields is optional.

Recipients of your data

The data collected are intended for :

  • STGM.

  • All service providers required to carry out the above-mentioned processing operations.

  • If you have given your consent: to STGM's partners and affiliated companies (e.g., tourist offices, companies of the Compagnie des Alpes group) to whom the personal data are transmitted and who use them for their own purposes.

Duration of conservation of your data

The data collected are kept for the following periods:

  • Data collected to create and manage your personal account: until your personal account is deleted.

  • Data collected to process orders for products and services: for five years from the date of collection if the amount of the order is less than €120, for ten years if the amount of the order placed electronically is equal to or greater than €120. As an exception, the number and expiration date of your bank card are retained, in all cases, for 15 months after the last debit date as proof in the event of a dispute concerning the transaction carried out remotely. The cryptogram is not retained after the transaction.

  • Data collected for the purpose of sending the Client newsletters, satisfaction surveys and promotional offers: for three years from the date of collection. At the end of this period, the data are retained for an additional period of three years if the Client agrees to continue to receive newsletters, satisfaction surveys and promotional offers from the Seller.

  • Data collected to respond to requests for information, comments and complaints that you send to STGM : for the time necessary to process these requests, comments and complaints.

The data collected will be used for automated decision-making in the commercial communication administration. The criteria considered are the characteristics of your previous purchases, your location and your spoken language. This decision results in sending you more personalised offers and information by e-mail.

In order to preserve the confidentiality and security of your personal data and in particular to protect them against unlawful or accidental destruction, accidental loss or alteration, or unauthorised disclosure or access, we take appropriate technical and organisational measures, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. To this end, we have implemented technical measures (such as firewalls) and organisational measures (such as an ID/password system or means of physical protection).

Your rights concerning the processing of your data

You have the right to access your personal data, to have them corrected or deleted, to transfer them or have them transferred to a third party, to obtain a restriction on their processing or to object to their processing. We shall abide by your request subject to compliance with any legal obligations incumbent upon us.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.

In the interest of confidentiality and the protection of your personal data, STGM reserves the right to demand proof of identity before responding to your request, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 known as the "Data Protection Act", Article 92 of the Decree of 20 October 2005 as amended by the Decree of 1 August 2018, and European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of such data. You may be asked to produce a photocopy of a valid, official identity document mentioning your date and place of birth and bearing your signature.

Finally, you have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL if you feel that your rights have been breached.
